The Day After Shoot

The Day After Shoot

Sometimes a little extra time after the wedding is all you need to get those perfect photos!

With a day full of excitement and nervousness at the same time it is a day that goes by in a blink of eye. Your wedding day is one of the most exciting days of your life. It is also a day where your timeline can easily get off track. Even when you keep to your timeline it still limits availability to those “couple creative” shots you love so much. Enter “The Day After Shoot”. This shoot isn’t necessarily the day after your wedding. It could be a few days, a week, even a few weeks after your wedding.

So let’s discuss a few reasons why The Day After Shoot is beneficial.

  1. There isn’t any rushing. No timeline to keep on track.

  2. You may have had inclement weather on your wedding day and weren’t able to get outside and shoot.

  3. You now can choose a location that may not have been feasible to get to on your wedding day.

  4. For some to get dressed up again to look and feel amazing is worth it alone. #giveyourselfareason

  5. Your hair and make up will look fresh and amazing. I’ve even had some clients bring a MUA (Make Up Artist).

The truth is it adds to your whole wedding experience. These photos become memories as well. You can add these photos to your wedding album and get beautiful art work to hang in your home.

Check out our last session at New Hanover County Arboretum. Wendy and Aaron had an issue on their wedding day where their timeline got a little behind due to incontrollable circumstances. This is what we came out and shoot!
